In leadership-as-practice, or L-A-P, we look for leadership in everyday practices, those regular and sometime emergent activities performed by various actors and their artifacts within the organization as they engage in a mutual endeavor. In particular, leadership occurs when there is a turning point or change in trajectory in the flow of these activities. Consequently, in L-A-P, to find leadership we must look to the practices with which it is occurring.
Join host Steve Cady and guest, Joe Raelin, in a fast paced dialog, including group activity, as we explore the contribution of L-A-P to leadership theory and practice.
